Ozone generators

Ozone generators split 0xygen (0 2 ) molecules sucked into a mini reactor via a venturi system, into individual O 2 atoms. These atoms re-attach in the form of 0 3 which we call Ozone. The third atom has a weak link which makes the molecule unstable and therefore ozone is able to easily re-attach itself to other molecules (odours, bacteria, viruses, etc.).

Planet earth ' s atmosphere contains a layer of ozone which is it ' s way of cleaning/disinfecting polluted air. Ozone has an oxidizing effect (neutralization by breakdown) on most pollutants and it also kills a multitude of different viruses and bacteria found in the air we breathe and the water we drink … . or swim in. Water purification (with ozone) takes place at a rate more than 3000 times faster than with chlorine and it leaves behind no harmful traces as unused ozone quickly reverts back to breathable 0 2 .
